Girls from Dalarna have a bath - Anders Zorn
This oil painting by Swedish artist Anders Zorn is a highly atmospheric piece depicting two girls bathing in a bathtub, the scene illuminated by the flickering glow of a bonfire.
Zorn was deeply concerned with the effects of light, and especially of light reflected on water and flesh, and many of his paintings convey a striking clarity of light and atmosphere, and have a photographic quality.
Girls from Dalarna is an unusual composition and is somewhat reminiscent of Edgar Degas, whom Zorn had become acquainted with while in Paris. He also socialized with Pierre-Auguste Renoir and especially Auguste Rodin, and there is a sense of each of these in Zorn's work.
By the time he painted Girls from Dalarna, the artist had moved from Paris back to his hometown of Mora, where he remained until his death. He contributed to the development of the town, and he chose the local people and nature for many of his paintings.

Uncollected packages: Goods that are returned to us because a customer has not received or collected the goods will be charged a fee of NOK 300. Most of our designs can be ordered as either a poster or canvas. Many people wonder what the difference is between a poster and a canvas.
Poster:
- We print on a Premium 230 gram quality paper with a beautiful matte surface. The paper is produced by Felix Schoeller Group in Germany, one of the world's largest companies in terms of production of paper materials. They have all the biggest certificates and awards in terms of quality, durability and environment/sustainability. The paper is unsurpassed in terms of sharpness and color reproduction.
- A poster must be hung with something. The most common is to use a frame. The frame is not included in the price, but we are one of the few players in this market that offers free mounting of the poster in a frame if you buy both the poster and the frame from us. We have black, white, silver, oak and gold frames. We also sell poster strips that can be used for hanging.
Canvas:
- We print your image on heavy canvas. The canvas is made of cotton and provides a fantastic image experience, with beautiful colors and great sharpness.
- The canvas has a matte surface, which means you avoid reflections from sunlight and other light sources.
- Prints on canvas do not fade and you will preserve your image for many years.
- After printing, the canvas is stretched on a strong blind frame. For most formats, we use a 40mm thick frame, so that a great depth effect is achieved when the frame is hung on the wall. We then mount it on a hanger with steel wire and your artwork can be hung directly on the wall.
Framed posters: You can also buy frames for your poster in our store.
Framed canvas: If you buy canvas from us, it will be delivered pre-stretched on a blind frame (included in the price). If you want a visible frame around the canvas, you can also buy one of our frames together with the canvas - and we will mount it in the frame for you.
