It was later acquired by Corbis Images in 1995. The image is often misattributed to Lewis Hine; the identity of the photographer remains unknown. Evidence emerged indicating that it may have been taken by Charles C. Ebbets, but it was later found that other photographers had also been present at the photoshoot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e Many claims have been made regarding the identities of the men in the photo, although only a few have been definitively identified.
